About Us
Established in 1969 , the Gulf Coast Corvette Club has brought together Corvette enthusiasts from all over Sarasota and Manatee counties and has become one of the premier Corvette clubs in the Florida.
We are based in Bradenton, FL and sponsored by Cox Chevrolet. Membership meetings are held at the Synovus Bank on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 p.m. all year long. Many of our members have been involved in the Corvette hobby for many years. Others just bought their first Corvette and are new to the hobby. The rest are somewhere in between.
2012 All GM Car Show
On April 22, 2012 we hosted the first All GM Car show. This show replaces our annual All Chevy Show that we used to put on, due to General Motors restucturing. Even though in rain off and on all day, we managed to have a successful show.
Meredith Garofalo, a meteorologist with Action New 7, started the show by singing the National Anthem . The girls from Hooters helped sell 50/50 tickets. And Jeff Scott helped sell more 50/50 tickets by matching contributions and encouraging more people to buy tickets.
