About Us

Established in 1969 , the Gulf Coast Corvette Club has brought together Corvette enthusiasts from all over Tampa Bay and has become one of the premier Corvette clubs in the Florida.

The club features a couple of events throughout the entire year and the wide variety of activities offered provides something for every "Vette" owner.

We are based in Bradenton, FL and sponsored by Cox Chevrolet. Membership meetings are held at the Synovus Bank on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 p.m. all year long. Many of our members have been involved in the Corvette hobby for many years. Others just bought their first Corvette and are new to the hobby. The rest are somewhere in between.

More Club Information

We are a 100% NCCC (National Council of Corvette Clubs) member Club. This offers us excellent insurance options as well as a national organization that holds several rallys, races and other functions around the country. We have about 85 members with over 120 cars ranging from a 1954 right up to several new cars.

We are a charitable organization and sponsor two car shows per year to benefit local charities. We are also a social club and plan several outings to local attractions as a group, many times inviting other groups to come along.

National Corvette Restorers Society

Many of our members are also a part of the NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society) and are activly restoring or have already restored several older cars. We have several NCRS "Top-Flight" cars which we proudly display at several local shows. We also have two NCRS Judges for C2 model cars.
